Supporting Troops Reaching Across the World

In an effort to recognize and support these men, women, and their families, WRS has organized a committee to help keep these troops in our thoughts by taking on this challenging yet rewarding project.

Potential goals of this committee may include periodically circulating greeting cards for signatures throughout WRS work locations, preparing small packages of miscellaneous items (restrictions apply) for mailing, phone call updates with their local families, and any other supportive measures within reason.

The Committee displays a photo of the military person and a brief summary about them and has set up individual collection bins at Twiggs Street, and other field locations.  One US Postal white plastic bin is designated for each candidate, attached to the bin is the photo/summary, all information is circulated via department-wide email requesting donated "items" for the project.  A list of suggested donation items is provided.  Donors can designate their donation to one individual's bin or to all bins.  Money donations are accepted to help pay for postal fees.

Please submit additional names and details to a committee member.  With growing expectations, and participation from WRS staff, this project can be on going.
